
A Bit About Councilmember Moore
Sarah grew up in Arkansas as the oldest of five children and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Marketing Management. She went on to build a successful career at Tyson Foods, holding leadership roles in trade marketing, category management, and national account management. Her professional experience culminated in overseeing a team and a $38 million product portfolio with national distribution, skills she would later bring to her work in community advocacy and public service.

Sarah redirected her career toward the work she found most meaningful: investing in her family and helping address unmet needs in her community.
For 24 years, Sarah and her partner, Branton, have built a life centered on family. After losing their firstborn child, they dedicated themselves to raising their rainbow children, Salem (14) and Astoria (10). That commitment to family ultimately expanded into a commitment to community.
Observing the barriers faced by families in local schools and attending her first Quorum Court meeting in January 2019 made clear that many residents were struggling with inequities that demanded action. It was then that Sarah began her journey into public advocacy and community organizing. As a Cofounder and Executive Director of the Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition, Sarah serves the community and is immersed within those directly impacted by oppressive and broken systems. where each day means another focus on creating change that improves a life or lives of those in the NWA region.
